In My Garden / Dans mon jardin,

The period of the garden that I like is when I selected seeds (via internet) and I prepare everything in the greenhouse. We see small seeds grow and the kids are so happy to participate.
And that changes the routine of winter (which is long for us !!!) seeing the ground and then you see the green !!!

But I love the harvest time too. And since we have an enclosure around the garden, I have a good harvest.
It's time for tomatoes, especially cherry tomatoes (the tomandes) and beef hearts.
And it's time for tomato sauces too.
A little onion and Italian seasoning, a good dose of olive oil, and let it simmer.
A treat!

While it simmers, it gives us time to do some crafts.
And let me introduce you to Ginger !!
Another of my trials crochet doll.
Ginger, because it reminds me of the spices you put in gingerbread and color of fall and pumpkins.
I confess that the head is not yet well understood !!
But it still takes a little practice and technique.
But what fun to create!

Some fabrics for fun and a lot of ideas to create.
The Liberty fabric is quite hard to find in my area and often it is my mother (From France) that sends me coupons.
The day I found a shop that sells this kind of fabric, I'll fill my car !!!!
it will take some money then both say that it is not for tomorrow ......

I'm working on two small dolls.
This is the blue version, but there is also a pink version.

I hope to finish before the start of school.
But I must say we are very busy here.
My little guy has his first school year and daughter changes school so that makes a lot of changes and a new routine must be installed.
For now, it is training.
Sleeping early, waking early !!

While waiting to show you the final result, here is a plant that a friend gave it to me this year and is doing flowers at the root, hidden under leaves.
Looks like the flowers are plastic. They fade quickly.
But it's special to see.

Elles fanent assez vite.
Mais c'est spécial à voir.

Have a great Weekend and a beautiful back-to-school.

Miss.
